Visionary Egyptian Symbolic Art

Dream of a Night in Giza

A visionary painting cycle by Dan Aug, where ancient Egypt, sacred architecture, pyramidal landscapes and cosmic imagination converge into a symbolic dream of Kemet.

The Series

Dream of a Night in Giza is the first major visionary painting cycle by Dan Aug. Developed over more than two decades, the series explores ancient Egypt, sacred architecture, pyramids, temples, mythological archetypes and symbolic landscapes.

The complete cycle comprises 46 paintings. This homepage presents a curated core selection of 18 works that form the symbolic nucleus of the project.
