Dan Aug, artistic name of Daniel Augusto Chiesa Lanaro, is a Uruguayan-Italian visual artist, author, amateur astronomer and lecturer whose work connects contemporary art, ancient Egypt, cosmic imagination and symbolic thought.

He is the creator of Dream of a Night in Giza, a visionary Egyptian symbolic painting cycle developed between 2002 and 2019, and the author of the fiction universe connected with The Legacy of Neferu.
